Possibility of war

These days, times and again, I’ve heard about the possibility of USA attacks to the nuclear sites of Iran in the near future and it’s awkward to know that everybody are inviting their friends to store cans of food for the hard coming future.
I hope all of this news is rumors but due to the political situation of Iran and the time of USA attack to Iraq 3 years ago, which was about Norouz, it makes me frightened about the future.
We Iranian people have the bad experience of Iran-Iraq war. Almost after 17 years of finishing that war we can still see the remains of it which are not repairable, so a new war for no result is very stupid and deteriorating for poor people who never benefits of any kind of war.

I can understand the fears and frustration as it is always the people that suffer from the arrogance of its leaders. But just as the people of Iran fear possible US military action, the people of Israel fear Iranian aggression as well as that from those Arab states that have not made their peace with her. People in London fear another terrorist attack, as do the people of New York, in Africa people die daily as a result of aggression....in many cases religion is the cause of it all. What amazes me is that the three of the major religions Christianity, Islam, Judaism all have tolerance and peace as cornerstones of their beliefs, yet daily we see people dying because of religion.....
Why is it we see men of God preaching hatred, calling for blood to be spilt.....surely in any religion the message of love and forgiveness should supercede the call for violence to right a perceived wrong....surely tolerance of others weaknesses should be dealt with pity, not scorn and violence. In the West, Christian leaders call for an end to war, were the Rabbis, Imans and Clerics to do the same we could see the end to this mindless violence. There needs to be tolerance and respect, as Westerners are expected to abide by the rules Middle Eastern countries when they visit, so should Western rules be respected when visiting the West. In todays world we have so many choices, if you do not agree with a countries ethos, their religions or customs do not go there to visit or to live. I have visited many countries and respect their values when I'm there but I also expect foreigners coming to my shores to expect and respect that my country may have different values systems to their own....
