Chernobyl

Today I was reading about Chernobyl's nuclear explosion in April 1986, almost 20 years ago. I'm not very old but I can remember those days very clearly which Soviet regime asked poor villagers to emigrate and leave all their possessions there. That accident was a complete scandle for the government and almost they ruined 30 km *2 of planet land. Nobody is permitted to enter that area for an unlimited period and it's going to become like Nowhere.
Making vehicles for villagers to leave the land last 36 hours, and those ones who left there not immediately, are suffering from the effects of radioactive radiations.
Having the nuclear weapons is a sine qua non for making peace in a country but it's not a per se adequate.
